What is CycleVine?
CycleVine is an online classifieds site. We provide a full service
classifieds listing service at reduced prices. Other such services on the Internet are complex, difficult to navigate
and drastically overpriced. Listing your items is as easy as finding your new
toy right here at CycleVine.

Why post on CycleVine instead of other online classified and auction sites?
Unlike other sites that let you list everything you have from cars to burnt toast.
CycleVine is an industry-specific site, dedicated solely to buying and selling
motorcycles, ATV's, personal watercraft and other powersports. There is no
question as to our content. Our easy search-by-zip code feature
gives users the ability to search by distance, allowing them to narrow their
search locally - thus saving on time and effort. There are lots of "free"
listing sites available as well. Why should you use CycleVine instead of them?
When you factor in the issues free listing sites pose in regard to cluttered
navigation, selling your email address to spammers, fraudulent listings, spam
ads, incorrectly listed items, short listing timeframes and possible neglagence,
it really isn't "free." We will not sell or give your information (persuant to
the CycleVine privacy policy). CycleVine also helps advertise for you through
various methods. After all, you want to sell your item as quickly and painlessly
as possible and we understand that.

Who can use this site?
Anyone can view, post or purchase materials for sale on CycleVine; however, to create an account or buy/sell
items one must have a valid e-mail address as well as agree to the terms and conditions listed in the User Agreement.

How long will my ad be visible on CycleVine?
How long your item will be visible depends on the listing package you choose
when posting your item. We offer several listing times.

What options do I have when paying for an item?
We do not play a role in the payment for or negotiation of the sale terms. That is
between you and the seller/buyer.

What options do I have if I have a dispute with another party arising from the sale or purchase of materials listed on this site?
We will play no role in disputes between buyers and sellers. Please see the User Agreement for more information.
If you believe the ad for the item is questionable, you may report the ad to our
customer support center.

Who arranges for the transportation of the sale item?
It is up to the buyers and sellers to arrange for pickup and delivery. You may use
the CycleVine Resource Center for help in this area.

How do I change my password?
Changing your password is easy. Simply click on the “My Account” icon, scroll down to the change password section, enter your old password and create a new password.

Creating an account is a simple three-step process.
1. The first step strongly encourages you to read and understand the User Agreement. If you have trouble understanding any part of the
CycleVine user agreement, you may email us at support@cyclevine.com. We will make sure to respond in a manner that fully explains any area of confusion.
2. The second step requires you to fill in your name, address information and e-mail address. We will not show your e-mail address to anyone, and we will not send you unsolicited e-mail (SPAM).
3. Finally, you will need to create a username and password, which is required whenever you access your account. You will also be asked to make a security question and answer in order to protect your account and keep it private.
After entering your information, your account will be created and you will be logged into the system. You can now add
items to the site and send and receive messages.

Selling Items
Before selling items on CycleVine, you will need to register and establish a username and password to protect your listings from unwanted changes. After creating an account and logging in, selling your material is an easy four-step process:
1. The first step in adding an item to the site is to select the appropriate
item category. Taking the time to find the right category will ensure that those looking for materials will be able to easily locate your advertisement.
2. The second step asks you for information about your material; a name, price, description and location of the item (please remember to list the zip code where the item is located).
3. Step three is the payment process. We use PayPal to easily and securely pay
for your ad submission. If you already have a PayPal account, you need only
login to complete the payment process. For those that do not have a PayPal
account, you may use a valid credit card account. For more information on how to

4. The last step allows you to add images to your material description. You can
skip this step if you do not have images.
The information you provide, along with any images you submit, will then be

Buying Items
When you find an interesting posting, simply click “Contact Seller,” enter your name, e-mail address and comments or questions.

Un-listing a Sold Item
In an effort to keep the site populated with materials that are current, we ask that if you sell an item, you
mark it as sold. By marking the item as sold, you are also helping CycleVine in our efforts to measure the impact the site has made. To
mark your items sold, follow the procedures below:
1. Log into your account by clicking the “Login” link located at the top of the page.
2. Click on the icon, “My Listings,” button located on the left side of the page.
3. In the items listing, click on the red "Mark As Sold" icon that corresponds with the
item that has been sold.
If you need to simply de-list your item:
1. In the items listing, click on the blue "Unlist Ad" icon that
corresponds with the item you want to remove from view.

Editing an Ad
Follow steps 1-2 as above. In step 3, click on the black “Edit Ad” icon that corresponds with the material. You are now able to edit your ad as needed.

Why are some items featured in the item showcase?
From time to time, the CycleVine staff will find items that are of interest. Whether it be for the sale price or because it's a unique item. We scour the current ad postings for these types of ads and make them a part of our features.
Other times the seller has opted to participate in our Platinum ad listing
package. The Platinum package not only has the best yearly cost, but it also
allows you the benefit of bolded and highlighted titles as well as being a part
of the featured ad list.

- You can place your items on the site and gain nation-wide exposure.
- Save your favorite ads - you can save the ads that you find most interesting so you can go back to them at a later date and comparison shop.
- You have access to authorized dealership listings.
- You are able to see how far each item is from you.
- You can contact each seller to ask more questions or arrange for purchase of the item.
